I really need to get an update

on here with my new picture of my progress of Lacey. She really is turning out really nice. I know I've made some mistakes but well I'm just hoping that no one can see them! :)
Still in school, still making A's.

Fustration anyone?

So once Lacey was coming along beautiful. Then I discovered I've messed up somewhere along the right side of her. So I attempted to frog her on that side, I ended up putting a hole in my fabric. I attempted to put a patch of fabric on the back and started to stitch on her again. After awhile I realized she is still messed up somewhere which is making the entire pattern off on that side and its driving me CRAZY!

I'm ready to start all over. Does that sound crazy???

Day 3 of Lacey!

My new friend Deborah helped me with fabric and floss for this project. I'm forever grateful that she gave me a start and it is very refreshing to see there are wonderful people out there.

I'm excited at my progress on Day 3 (that I ended last night and knew I wanted to post this now so I can work on it some more!)

Heaven And Earth Designs Oh My!

I've been looking at this design off and on now and well my mom sent me $20 for Easter. It was on sale and then I signed up for an account and I got a $5 coupon! so I relented and bought the pattern. Yikes. Right now money is pretty tight for me since my husband has filed for divorce, but well I spent the $6.25 on the pattern. Then I went to JoAnn's, thinking I'd start collecting the floss I'd need. I can see on the pattern there are many 10x10 areas of only black. I found at JA's 18 count Aida (probably not the best quality as 1-2-3 Stitch, but I was able to use my 50% off coupon and get my huge pc for $2.79!) So I have a couple skeins of black to start with. I did notice many of the colors are not available at my local JA's. However I have not checked Michael's yet either. But anyways now I have 2 projects. Anyways here's a picture. Oh I also got a hoop with my 40% off coupon as I was finding it quite difficult on my other project with no hoop.

project. I can't wait to take pictures and show you all my progress!

Right now I'm currently working on a quilt block. Just a small block.
